I wore these with a white dress for Dinner En Blanc. They fit like a dream and were comfortable for a long hot afternoon and evening involving lots of walking and dancing. They were very suitable for an elegant outdoor venue.Loved the style, very attractive. The shoes are also very comfortable.Perfect fit as described. Very well made and attractively boxed. They even come with an extra set of laces.!! I’m pleased!Cute but tight in toe, tying is tricky; too tight cuts off blood flow (joke), loose flops a bit.Overall so cute.The price was to highThis is my second pair of espadrilles from this maker. I absolutely love them. My first pair is a few years old and have seen their day. I shared the specific picture because I love the upgrade made to this shoe.First, the metal grommets keep the threads of the shoes from fraying after constantly pulling on the strings to make sure they are tight enough around the ankle.Second, the leather tips on the ends of the strings add a finished look. My first pair did not have them.The shoe is very comfortable, versatile and stylish to wear with jeans, linen pants or summer dresses. They are true to size. I recommend these shoes.My only negative would be that they are a little pricey but I would not hold back a star because of that and they are well made shoes.I really love these shoes. They were a little tight at first but after I wore them to work all day they fit better. In fact, they seem a tad loose now. But they still fit great and are comfortable. I've worn them to work a bunch and never had any pain. I did get a blister on my heel once because the back part of the shoe was folded down a little, but that had nothing to do with the quality of the shoes. Once I fixed it, they were comfortable again. They are very nice looking shoes. I got the navy blue pair so that I could wear them with more outfits, and they do indeed seem to go with almost everything -- skirts, dresses, flared jeans, skinny jeans. Haven't tried them with shorts, but I bet they would look awesome. If you have issues with your arches, I can't testify as to whether or not these are supportive as I have pretty flat feet. But otherwise, they are very comfortable. I really like the height of the heels, they aren't too tall, which I think is partly why they are comfortable, but there is enough of a heel to make your legs look longer and thinner. At least that's what they did to me. I would definitely buy more of these in different colors in the future.I wore these Red Espadrilles for the first time on 6/7/2021. These shoes are very comfortable, I have ordered a second pair that you had for 50% off.Other Espadrilles I ordered, the material was hard and they were very heavy. Too Heavy to wear. They were returned.Bought brown size 2.5 for my daughter who is a size 3 but we have found with this style of shoe we both go down a size or half size.She loves them and finds them very comfortable. The brown colour is versatile and will go with a number of outfits. She has taken the shoes InterRailing for evenings, as a shoe with height but also comfortable for hot summer city nights.Smashing footwear for summer style! I really love the way these look with just about anything. The heel is just enough to give the look an edge but not of any significant height to make them uncomfortable; I only withhold a star because they are not suitable for running for the bus or walking marathons. I find that it is fine to amble around the shops and these will be totally perfect on hols but the fit and the ties make them slip off the back a little and rub just a little so just be sure what purpose you are buying them for....especially as they are a bit on the pricey side.Love these Escala in beige.. (I don't usually do beige!) but wanted them to go with a cream/flecks of beige skirt. Wedges are handy for outside as you don't sink in the grass... love the ties as you can adjust the tightness! and they look good... So comfy underfoot too... Great with capri trousers... i bought a pair in ivory and they look good with these.. Handy through most seasons i would think.. spring summer autumn.Have now bought these in denim.. as beige ones comfy to walk in.. as are the denim.. can dress up or just casual wear.. :-)Found these espadrilles perfect, colour, height,Comfort. Well made and look good.Laces could be longer, maybe I’m doing them up incorrectly.Love them.Comfortable shoes - larger than expected - maybe half a size too big for me (and wide), hesitating about returning them as loose now while new, however temperature here 40 degrees plus at the moment so could be a blessing. Colour photography not very accurate. The actual colour is more stone than beige - rather drabber - but ok. Altogether, pleased with purchase.
